Name a more iconic image to come out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup than England centre-back Harry Maguire straddling the back of a rainbow unicorn floatie. I’ll wait.
Now it’s your turn to get in on the fun in Fortnite! Your 14 Days of Summer challenge this weekend is to “search unicorn floaties at swimming holes”, and here’s where we think you need to go.
This page is based on leaks before the challenge has officially launched in-game, so the locations are subject to change. With that said, we’ve looked at different sources and gone with the most likely.
There’s been some debate about where the Unicorn Floaties are going to appear. Some people have made lists of eight locations around the map, but these were all taken out of the game on Friday, so it makes sense that they’re going to be added back in at new locations.

Looking at the list of previously leaked challenges – which hasn’t been wrong so far – we know that the same locations are likely being used for multiple challenges. Some of the beach parties from earlier in the week have giant umbrellas that you need to bounce off, balloon decorations that you need to pop, and clown boards that you need to score 10 on.
This means that we think the Unicorn Floaties will appear at some of the beaches – but not all of them.
The challenge specifically says “swimming holes”, which we think crosses out all of the parties that are next to rivers and lakes.
There are three that are next to smaller bodies of water, at the following locations:
|Unicorn Floaties locations||Map Reference|
|Southeast of Dusty Divot||G6|
|Northwest of Paradise Palms||H7-H8|
|Southwest of Paradise Palms||H9|
This is supported Fortnite leaker StormLeak, who looks through the game’s files for location challenges.
Earlier this week they posted this map:

If for some reason that tweet doesn’t load, here’s another version of the map:
So jump into a game and head over to the middle and southeast of the map. We’d recommend doing the Dusty Divot one first, because you can use the nearby slipstream to reach the others more quickly.
