Originally announced late last year, Blizzard has revealed details on a slew of new merchandise in partnerships with other big brands.
Blizzard’s Uniqlo T-shirts
Uniqlo, in a deal between the gaming/esports brand and the clothing company, has launched a t-shirt line featuring many of Blizzard’s iconic franchises.
The spring/summer 2019 Blizzard Entertainment collection includes 12 shirts inspired by Overwatch, Starcraft II, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm, and Hearthstone. All items are available at Uniqlo’s website. Select flagship stores also stock the apparel in North America, Australia, Europe, and East Asia. Shirts retail for $14.90 in the US.

Screen Rant was given an exclusive first look at a new Overwatch cookbook by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel, which was announced earlier this month. The author is no stranger to fictional cuisine. She previously wrote cookbooks for both World of Warcraft and Game of Thrones. The article features two excerpts depicting recipes inspired by Mercy and Orisa respectively.
The first, “Valkyrie’s Flight,” is an alcoholic tea inspired by Mercy and the “alpine slopes” of Switzerland. It’s a simple recipe but smooth and soothing to the taste, with a wonderful golden hue.
The second, “Orisa Sundae,” is an ice cream sundae made to appear like the character with a variety of fruits. Also teased in the image are “Tracer’s Sticky Toffee Pudding” and “Reaper’s Churros with Cajeta.”
Blizzard previously showed off “‘Radioactive’ Lemon-Lime Soda Float,” “Biscochitos,” and “Til Ko Laddu Sesame Sweets” for Roadhog, McCree, and Zenyatta respectively.

This isn’t the first time Blizzard has released exciting, non-standard merchandise. Previous releases include LEGO sets, a sword, and even their own Overwatch-based cereal.
I fell in love with Tomb Raider for the PS1 as a 4 year old and have gamed ever since. While I’ve meddled with the pro scenes of a couple games, I only really got invested with Overwatch for which I’ve been a pro player, coach and analyst in the tier 3 scene. Nowadays I mostly just play Overwatch, some Pdx Grand Strategies and R6 Siege but my favourite video game will forever be Star Wars Republic Commando. RIP Sev, you’ll always be remembered.
